Jersey Boys Tickets and Seating
This jukebox musical is produced in a modern day documentary style. The characters (Frankie Valli, Tommy DeVito, Bob Gaudio, and Nick Massi) take breaks from the action on the stage and give individual confessions along the way. We see the debauchery, the infighting, the regrets, and the group stressed too the point of breaking before they would become an undeniable part of the music scene in the 1960s.
Four Seasons band member Bob Gaudio developed the musical with Marshall Brickman and Rick Elice, taking the music and lyrics from the beginning of the Four Seasons musical career. Jersey Boys premiered in San Diego at the La Jolla Playhouse, a popular stage for would-be Broadway productions. The musical was received beautifully by the audience and Jersey Boys moved to Broadway on November 6, 2005 at the August Wilson Theatre.
Jersey Boys has been there ever since, winning the Tony Award for Best Musical among many others. The show has begun productions around the country in theatre hotbeds like Chicago and (fittingly) Las Vegas, as well internationally in the West End and in Australia.
Jersey Boys tickets continue to sell worldwide as this jukebox musical continues to conquer audiences with the infectious music that made the Four Seasons stars and with the antics of four boys from Jersey (well, and New York).
