The theater scene here is incredible. Hits like Wicked and the Lion King regularly make tour stops at the underrated theater district downtown. Of course, there are plenty of original works at any of cities many smaller theaters.
The sports scene is incredible. A great football team with a tremendous history and fans willing to paint just about every inch of skin on their body prove the city has heart. Of course, no one wants to be outside in the middle of winter, so having a basketball team is perhaps one of the best gifts bestowed upon the city. Lazy summer days would not be the same with the baseball team either.
Everyone loves music, though not everyone loves everybody’s idea of music. So, get concert tickets and see your favorite band or that group you have heard so much about with some like-minded folks in a live setting. Besides, music is always better live and this city has the venues large and small built to handle any group on any stage of stardom.
