Fox Cities Performing Arts Center Tickets and Seating
The venue is located in a city often forgotten when mentioning bustling metropolises in the Midwest. One hundred miles north of Milwaukee, Appleton is the home to several universities, including a branch of the University of Wisconsin and the noted private liberal arts college Lawrence University. Wicked is just the latest touring production to come to this city thanks to Broadway Across America, the production company bringing Broadway hits to the rest of the nation.
Fox Cities Performing Arts Center has been a true community effort, relying on large donations by gigantic philanthropic institutions and smaller contributions by the local citizenry and companies to fund the performing arts center. This dream of a multi-stage building to bring a little bit of culture to the city came to fruition in 2002, when Zeidler Partnership Architects’ design became a physical reality.
The center has four rooms, the Thrivent Financial Hall, the Kimberly-Clark Theater, the Founders Room, and Entrance 21. Thrivent Financial Hall is the second largest stage in Wisconsin and seats 2,100. No audience member being more than 108 feet from the stage thanks to inventive designs. This is the stage Wicked the Musical will play.
Kimberly-Clark Theater is a slightly smaller stage seating just 450 for an intimate concert, play, or lecture series. The Founders Room is a private room utilized for meeting space. Entrance 21 is lounge on the Dress Circle used before the performance and for intermissions.
