Hult Center For The Performing Arts Tickets and Seating
The Hult Center for the Performing Arts opened in 1982, four years after voters approved the construction of a performing arts center for the community and Hardy Holzman Pfeiffer Associates won the bid to design the building out of a field of 27.
The center has two main performance halls, an art gallery open, and an outdoor amphitheater. The largest of the performance halls, and the stage Wicked the Musical will play, is the Silva Concert Hall. The theater has seating for 2,500 and all those seats should be filled when this musical comes to town.
The smaller performance hall is the Soreng Theater, with seating for just 500 for intimate concerts. The Jacobs Gallery is the art gallery open to the public and the Cuthbert Amphitheater is located in Alton Baker Park and holds 4,500.
The Hult Center for the Performing Arts is a common stop for productions supported by Broadway Across America, but also remains a place for local talent to take to the stage. This talent and any local resident companies must pass muster to pay extremely discounted rates for the venue, attracting a certain attendance and remaining active, performing a minimum number of performances.
